Background
Richard A. Foster graduated from Birmingham Seaholm High School in 1966 and attended Michigan State University after serving three years in the Army. He graduated with high honors from the Honors College at Michigan State University in 1973 with a degree with two majors, Honor’s Psychology and Honor’s Pre-law. He attended Cooley Law School and graduated in 1979 and passed the bar the same year. Thereafter was in association with William, Hodgeman, Hatty & Foster for several years before practicing law in downtown Lansing with Rosenbaum, Clark & Foster. Attorney Foster then joined Cynthia Harmon to create the law firm Foster & Harmon, P.C. over fifteen years ago.
